 If you have taken any time to look around our site you may have noticed that there is no pricing listed with our items. We would like to take this time to explain why. One of the main reasons that we do not list prices with our items is because of the embroidery. The cost for embroidery is based on the number of stitches and color threads that are used to create a design. Not every design is created alike. One design may have 10,000 stitches and three thread colors while another logo could have 80,000 stitches and six different thread colors. The larger logo is going to cost more for a few reasons. The first reason is that the 80K logo will use more thread than the 10K logo. As a result the larger logo is going to cost a bit more because of the amount of thread that is used. Also, if a logo has multiple thread colors that require the embroidery machine to be torn down and reset that will affect the cost. Another reason the cost will be different is that a larger logo will take much more time to “run” on the embroidery machine. A logo that takes 8 hours to set the machine up and do the embroidery will cost more than a logo that only takes a couple of hours. The digitizing of the design will also affect the price. Digitizing is charged per 1,000 stitches. So a logo that is 10K stitches will cost twice as much to digitize as a logo that is 5K stitches. Since the cost for digitizing is per 1K stitches a logo that is 4,500 stitches and one that is 4,900 stitches would both be charged at 5K stitches. When it comes to the price of the items that we manufacture here in our factory at Sichel they are pretty standard. The Classic Eisenhower Jacket without embroidery is going to cost the same today as it will tomorrow. For brand name items that we do not manufacture the price is based on the current rate in the market. As the price of a Nike jacket goes up or down our prices will reflect the change. Because the cost will be determined by the market we cannot post prices.
