 Embroidery hoops are a very important piece of the embroidery puzzle. They are important because they are the tool that keeps your jacket or shirt stable once it has been put onto the embroidery machine. The hoop also keeps the fabric smooth so that your design is sharp and crisp. It is important that there is even pressure over the surface of the garment after it has been “hooped” to insure the best results. At Sichel we use plastic embroidery hoops. We have found that they are the best when it comes to grabbing the fabric. We wrap the inner ring with cloth, which helps hold the fabric in place at the same time protecting it.  The embroidery hoops come in a variety of sizes and shapes. This gives us flexibility when we embroider your logo on the garment. If you would like to have your logo embroidered on the upper sleeve of a long sleeve shirt, no problem, we can do that. Once the garment has been put into the embroidery hoop it is ready to be locked onto the embroidery machine. After the machine has been set up we are ready to do our first run of shirts!
